Blocks and biomes of the Sift
Everything here is observed, not named. Mojang has given no block an official name yet.
Seen in the Minecraft reveal
From the few seconds of in-development footage, Minecraft Wiki editors catalogued the following. The names are theirs, the colours are our approximations.
- White tree: thick trunk tapering upward, white leaf blocks, weeping white foliage hanging from the canopy, generating in dense forests like a dark forest.
- Grasses: short grass and tall grass in darker, lighter and green shades.
- Audio description said "orange": the official accessibility track described the ground as orange, not pink. Treat the exact hue as unsettled.

Hazards in Dungeons II
- Ichor: a thick, multicoloured liquid that sets Overworld creatures, heroes included, on fire. Sift natives are immune; blubs bathe in it. One weapon description says it was "forged in ichor".
- Sift tides: three tides, Flow, Endure and Thrive, that change how souls are gathered and how you move. Xbox Wire calls them "shifting tides" that affect you and nearby characters.
- Hazardous blocks: confirmed to exist by Xbox Wire, not itemised.
- Sculk: healthy sculk thrives in the Sift; corrupted sculk is a disease from there.
None of these is confirmed for Minecraft. Ichor would be Minecraft's third fluid if it carries over, which is exactly the kind of thing Mojang has not said.

Not real: mod content
Items such as "Siftite", "Siftling" and "Sift Stone" that show up in searches come from fan-made mods published after the announcement. They are not Mojang content.
